These two girls introduced a new idea of cloud bakery where only customised cakes are made
Introducing Manpriya Makhni (founder) and Navneet Kaur (Co- founder).These two girls are running cloud bakery where there is no physical bakery and customers order their cakes on phone calls or via Whatsapp.
“CAKED”is a designer cake studio where Manpriya Makhni says that there are boutiques for designing our suits but such service is not available for cakes, therefore she and her friend Navneet kaur started such studio where they design cakes according to customer’s choices.
But why Cloud Bakery ?
Because they did not want to limit themselves at one place or one office , want to make only customised cakes and to reach unlimited people.
Caked India is growing day by day as they design beautiful and tempting cakes
They are using premium quality raw material for making cakes with buttermilk instead of whipped cream , although their price is high comparing to other cake bakers but they are giving high quality, eggless, beautiful and delightful customised cakes to their customers.
Currently they are delivering cakes in Punjab only but hope this will reach to whole India.

They train and motivate their team to be more creative and skilful.
They have only women employees which they hired from nearby villages.
Navneet kaur says that bakery industry is dominated by men and they easily gain job anywhere , so the idea was to empower women specially rural women as they do not have privilege to do a decent job.
But How it all started ?
It is interesting to know that Manpriya is from film making background and Navneet is from IT background , but they were destined to do Bakery business together. Apart from R&D in this field, they learned to make cakes from Youtube and also took online classes from the world’s best of bakers! They did lot of research and hard work plus smart work to know about Cake baking.
They received their first order from Manpriya’s plumber and it goes on with other known people i.e. relatives and friends. Then they made Instagram account , but it was not worthful. Their actual growth started when they showed their work on exhibitions. No one thought before them that cakes should be exhibited , but these genius girls not only thought rather did this and it was so successful that people started recognising them and CAKED growth journey began !
